As the Putzmeister company, a manufacturer of concrete pumps, did when it had to hire football pitches to train staff, for example.

However, this was no longer necessary thanks to the realisation of a model concrete pump in a 1:14.5 scale. Participants were trained at the company’s
premises with this functional model, which not only looks like the original but also featured real steering just like its big brother.
This saved a lot of space in the first place but more importantly, saved money and time.
A truck driving school also taken advantage of this unique opportunity. Before student drivers were trained on the road with the large trucks and trailers,
they were first confronted with the ‘model test’. That’s because the entire rig behaves exactly like the real thing. Parking, turning or evasive manoeuvres
were easily practiced on the model, which had a positive effect on the learning success and subsequent implementation in 1:1.
These models can naturally also be used for product presentations and trade fairs.
